Biography: Anjastama is an artist from Indonesia born in Sukoharjo in 1996. He transform the Javanese puppet into a human form, and brings his personal issues then look from a wider perspective and become a global and relate to other people's issues.
The characters in his work were inspired by the ‘wayang’ stories from Java. However, Anjastama's artworks are not limited to the character Antasena, but he also creates a world in which there are 3 main characters and all three are children of Bima, namely Antasena, Antareja and Gatotkaca.
